In 1972 I read Matthew 24:34 "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled" and thought that Jesus was telling His disciples that His return was going to happen in the 1st century. I dismissed the thought because all the churches taught otherwise- it's even in their Creeds. But in 1998 I read 'Last Days Madness' by Gary Demar and my thinking on the 2nd Coming and the message of the New Testament has never been the same from that time forward.

The Thinker Conditioned Believe He Will Never Know All Things
The Thinker Conditioned Believe He Will Never Know All Things
2 Timothy 2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
The majority of Christians have been PURPOSELY misled into believing, amongst many other things, that we humans, and in particular we Christians, will never know all things.
They have been taught, over the centuries, that God DOES NOT WANT US TO KNOW ALL THINGS AND THAT HE HAS HIDDEN CERTAIN THINGS FROM OUR UNDERSTANDING.
This is in direct violation of what Apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 2:7.
To the Deceived:
2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
AND
To the Deceivers:
Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS [emphasis mine], shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Preterism, NOT Futurism, IS TRUE CHRISTIANITY.
